STARKVILLE, Miss.—çÛÁ¦ÊÓÆµ earned its third straight year of bragging rights Sunday [Nov. 16], defeating the University of Mississippi in the 8th annual Esports Egg Bowl.

The Bulldogs earned a hard-fought 4–3 victory, once again winning the coveted Golden Egg Trophy in front of spectators at MSU’s McComas Hall Theater.

This year’s tournament showcased live, best-of-seven matchups across a diverse lineup of popular competitive games, including Rocket League, Marvel Rivals, Street Fighter 6, College Football ’26, Valorant, League of Legends and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Players from both universities battled through an intense series, with the Bulldogs ultimately clinching victory in the final round.
